"As individuals who have never envisioned ourselves as fulltime cottage owners, with all the inherent financial, maintenance and security issues, a partial ownership in a cottage seemed like an option worth investigating.

After researching "fractional ownership" in general, we spent a great deal of time driving to various other properties within 2-3 hours of our west Toronto home. Although some other properties were nice, it wasn't until we arrived at "The Landscapes" that we both immediately felt that this was the place for us. The surrounding scenery along #117, the quaintness of the village of Baysville, the stately pines as you enter the property or maybe it was the way the sun was shimmering on the lake that day - our interest was piqued. When we finally saw the development model layout and had the opportunity to tour the cottages/villas we were sold.

Now that we've had the opportunity to stay at "our place" we appreciate how ideally situated it is to Huntsville, Bracebridge, Dorset, golf courses, hiking trails, canoe/kayak routes, snowmobile trails, skiing and dinner/entertainment options.

In addition, The Landscapes’ family - Helen, Jackie, Bud and the Singletons have been great. We look forward to the next visit to “OUR PLACE AT THE LAKE”.”

We are originally from Ontario and knew the area. We thought if we joined in and purchased our own unit that it would be great for family get togethers and quality vacation time. We were nervous at first, but last spring when we saw the development personally, we felt it would be a wonderful opportunity for us. The Landscapes offers all the types of recreation that we love with excellent accommodation. We are able to travel to The Landscapes from B.C. 2 or 3 times a year and trade the other weeks through the Registry Collection for other beautiful places and some are close by. Each time we go to "our villa" and are greeted like family by the staff, we are convinced that we made the right decision. We now own a piece of the 2 best places in Canada....what more could you want?"
